Look on the Internet for websites to do with bad plastic surgery, and you'll find that people somehow delight in hunting for plastic surgery pictures of women who have been scarred and disfigured. People seem to especially love pictures of beautiful celebrities who have ruined everything by going for too much.
One certainly can understand what would motivate one to think about plastic surgery. To a beautiful person, life is so much more pleasant than it is for an average-looking person. But in pursuit of this dream, it makes no sense to simply overlook how easy it can be to get disfigured.
Somehow, when people hear about cosmetic surgery or plastic surgery, they only hear the "plastic" or the "cosmetic" part. They forget that it's actual surgery. How can you ever trust that you can cut into your face and it will end up looking beautiful?
To look at a model or movie star and to think to yourself that you can be that good, makes no sense. What you see onscreen has a lot of makeup, lighting and computer effects working for the image. Look at them from 3 inches away with no makeup on, the way a boyfriend or husband is likely to look at you, and it's not going to be pretty. It can never happen anyone ever imagined that he can put a knife to their face and the results will be pretty?
What can go wrong, you ask? Well, let's be specific. How about scarring one of the stars of bad plastic surgery?
When you put a knife to youre body, scarring is inevitable. The body doesn't heal without scarring. There is no such thing. Scarring is a given. How bothersome and noticeable thoes scars are, depends on two things - how skilled your doctor is, and what healing method your body likes to use. Even if the doctor does the most perfect kind of job on your face, the way your body heals can completely ruin it.
And even if the scarring isn't very noticeable, pigmentation around the place can be a problem. And even if pigmentation isn't a problem, the skin there can harden and feel stretchy and irritating.
Have you noticed these days how there are all kinds of doctors who try to offer some kind of cosmetic procedure on the side? We've been lamenting often enough that plastic surgery pays so well that our most talented doctors take that up to specialize in rather than real disease curing.
And now, even doctors who do take up real disease curing medicine to practice, try to do a little cosmetic business on the side because it pays well. So if you go to your dentist or your heart doctor or your gynecologist or anyone, has advertisements plastered all over the place advertising how they do Botox or something, run.
Needless to say, this is something you should just shouldn't tolerate. The doctor you go to for plastic surgery should be completely experienced and trained in the skill. You don't want to go begging for bad plastic surgery.
